Matt Hinkley is from Liberty, Missouri where he was a stand out pitcher for the Liberty High School Blue Jays . While at Liberty, Matt earned two 1st Team All Conference Selections in 2010 & 2011, a 1st Team All State Selection in 2011, and was named the Big 6 Conference Pitcher of the Year in 2011 for the 6A Missouri State Runner Up Blue Jays. Because of Matts performance in high school he was given an opportunity to continue his baseball career at Hutchinson Community College where he was a starting pitcher for the Blue Dragons. The following year, he continued his career playing baseball at NCAA Divison II powerhouse Emporia State University. Matt was a vital part of the 2014 MIAA Conference Championship Team, the 2015 MIAA Conference Runner up Team and enjoyed two NCAA Division II Regional appearances. At Emporia, Matt also studied human anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology. He trained and completed his internship at the world renowned Cressey Sports Performance in Jupiter, Florida during the summer of 2015.

While at Cressey Sports Performance, Matt spent upwards of 8 hours a day training anywhere from 20-100 athletes. Matt also coordinated 4 day throwing programs and assisted with Strength Camps. During Matt’s internship he became proficient in writing programs based off of a detailed assessment protocol. Throughout Matt’s time in Florida he was able to work and train with a number of professional, collegiate, and high school baseball players, football players, golfers, and other various athletes.

Here at Premier Strength, Matt will be assessing each one of our athletes and building a comprehensive training program to address each clients specific needs.
